Chapter Ⅰ: General
Article 1: Scholarship (Scholarship for overseas distinguished students) is set for those excellent students who have been studying in School of Food & Biological Engineering (FBE), Jiangsu University. There are four types of scholarships, namely Foreign Doctor's Scholarship, Foreign Master's Scholarship, Foreign Bachelor’s Scholarship and Short-time (less than 1 year) Postgraduate’s Scholarship.
Article 2: The evaluation of the students’ scholarship will be based on "justice, publicity and fairness". The Scholarship Evaluation Committee is responsible for the whole process.
Chapter Ⅱ: Qualification
Article 3: Applicants should have good moral character and discipline of the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the university.
Article 4: Applicants should perform well in the study, with excellent academic records.
Article 5: Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy. Keep the dormitory tidy, and participate in the social activities.
Article 6: He/she can not apply scholarships in the event of any followings: anyone, in violation of the provisions of laws, who has been punished by the public security departments; anyone, who has broken the rules and regulations of the university, and has been punished; anyone, whose room has been proved dirty and messy; anyone, whose misbehavior had evil impact upon the university.
Chapter Ⅲ: Scholarship Scheme
Article 7: Candidates who meet the requirements should submit the application materials from September 1st to October 31st every year. The application materials include Application Form for School of Food and Biological Engineering Scholarship (download from website of FBE), transcript and related attachments.
Article 8: The Scholarship Evaluation Committee will check candidates’ qualification and assess scholarship limit. After that, the list of preferred students will be publicized on the school’s website for 7 days, and collect suggestions. The final list will be submitted to OEC before December 20th.
