Yolandani, an international student from Indonesia, has been studying at the School of Food and Biological Engineering of Jiangsu University since 2016. During her undergraduate study, she got a full funded scholarship from the Chinese government, and she was the class monitor of Chinese government scholarship students. She enthusiastically helped other students and assisted the teachers in managing the class affairs. Moreover, due to her excellent academic performance, she was awarded the honorary title of "Three-Good/Merit Student" in our college and won the academic excellence scholarship while competing with Chinese classmates. In 2020, she graduated as an outstanding graduate student in food science and engineering and received a special direct-entry scholarship for master students at our university.
Yolandani speaks Chinese fluently, loves Chinese culture, and actively participates in many cultural exchange activities, promoting the integration and exchanges between Chinese and international students. The activities she participated in were reported by national and provincial media. In addition, she has also actively participated in various activities organized by the school, such as scientific research, cultural, innovation and entrepreneurship, and voluntary services, and has won many honors and awards.
【In 2017, she participated in the winter weaving love event. The event was organized by the Municipal Women's Federation, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Municipal Culture and Broadcasting Group. The purpose of the event is to help families and students in need.】

Currently, Yolandani is a master candidate under Professor Haile MA. She is an individual with a strong spirit. Despite being caught up in the busy research work, she still actively participates in various activities and has been working as a part-time counselor (a class teacher) for the international students. She enthusiastically helps international students solve the problems that they encounter in their study and daily life.

Furthermore, in 2020, she participated in the International Students Conference Paper Competition hosted by Bogor Agricultural University and won the first prize; from 2020 to 2021, she participated in the innovation and practice programme for the cultivation of high-level internationalized talents training; she has also been volunteering for the epidemic prevention and control work inside the campus, and so on.
