On September 22, the Department of Food Science and Engineering of FBE started an IFT (Institute of Food Technologists, American Institute of Food Science and Technology) professional certification meeting at Food Building 209, and launched the IFT certification application for the undergraduate program of Food Science and Engineering. In this meeting, an IFT certification application working team was set up. Professor Ding Chao, Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, was specially invited to give an online talk entitled "Interpretation of the 2018 IFT Certification Standard". The meeting was hosted by Professor Zhou Cunshan, and seven key teachers including Zhang Di, Zhang Lei, Liu Xingrong and others attended the meeting.
