The 3rd Symposium on Miniature Near-Infrared Spectrometers and Instrumental Development and Application has been successfully held with a conversation discussion. Over 160 representatives, including experts, scholars, instrument manufacturers, and users, attended the event on March 25-26, 2023. The symposium aimed to promote the advancement of near-infrared spectroscopy analysis technology in China. Professor-level senior engineer, Chu Xiao Li, the secretary of the Near Infrared Spectroscopy Branch of the Chinese Instrumentation Society, and Ms. Wan Youling from the School of Food and Biological Engineering at Jiangsu University gave speeches at the event.

The panel session was chaired by Prof. Chen Bin from the School of Food and Biological Engineering, Jiangsu University. Participants at the symposium shared the latest technologies, methods, standards, applications, and future development trends from the perspectives of both instrument manufacturers and users. The event created an opportunity for face-to-face dialogue and provided a platform for free communication.
