The Forum is committed to service and problem solving, addressing the big challenges of a globalized food industry. First of all, it will built the relationship between Chinese food community and UK food community, academia and industry, sensing technologies and food assurance. Secondly, manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and technology specialists will sit together to identify current food safety and traceability needs, and consider how they may be quickly addressed through the use of sensing technologies and big data. Finally, it will drive ahead the continued progress in China's food safety work.
